StorageLabels
Terms of Use
Last updated 15 September 2026
These terms cover your use of the StorageLabels app. Using the app means you accept them.
The app
StorageLabels helps you label and find your own belongings. It is provided for personal use. You are responsible for the content you put into it.
Plans and payment
The free plan is a real plan, not a trial, and it does not expire. Paid plans are sold through the App Store and billed to your Apple ID.
Plus is a subscription. It renews automatically until you cancel, and you cancel it in your Apple ID settings — not in the app, which cannot cancel it for you. Cancelling stops the next renewal; it does not refund the current period. If a free trial is offered, any unused part of it ends when you buy a subscription.
Unlimited Local is a one-time purchase, not a subscription. It restores to any device signed in to the same Apple ID via Restore Purchases.
Restoring a purchase restores your plan, not your boxes. Restore Purchases tells the app what you have paid for. It does not bring back your inventory, because we never had a copy of it to bring back. To move your boxes, item text and photos onto a new or reset device, import a backup you exported earlier — you can do that at any time, on any plan.
Prices are shown in the App Store in your local currency and may change. Refunds are handled by Apple under their policy, not by us.
AI Snap is a helper, not an authority
AI Snap reads a photo and guesses what is in it. It will sometimes be wrong, miss things, or invent a detail. Always check the list it produces.
Do not rely on it as a record for insurance, legal or financial purposes without verifying it yourself. An itemised list generated from a photograph is a convenience, not evidence.
Your data is your responsibility
Your inventory lives on your phone. We hold no copy and cannot recover it for you. If you lose or reset your phone, delete the app, or change devices without exporting a backup first, that data is gone and we cannot restore it. Export regularly.
Note that Restore Purchases does not restore data — it only re-applies what you have paid for. Your boxes come back from a backup file you exported, and nowhere else.
Acceptable use
Do not use the app to break the law, and do not attempt to disrupt, reverse-engineer or overload the AI Snap service. We may limit or withdraw access to that service if it is being abused.
Availability
AI Snap depends on an internet connection and a third-party AI service, and may be unavailable or changed. The rest of the app works offline and does not depend on us being online — or, for that matter, on us still being here.
No warranty and limitation of liability
The app is provided "as is", without warranties of any kind to the fullest extent the law allows. We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for loss of data. Nothing here limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited. Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to the amount you paid for the app in the twelve months before the claim.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Vermont, United States of America, and the courts located there have exclusive jurisdiction.
